We've arrived safely at the airport! After a busy, exciting, and joyful week of rehearsing the play in the black box theater, fininshing props and costumes, and enjoying late night cookies from the dining hall, we are ready to take on the world. (I was hoping to have more frequent updates during our camp week, but...I overloaded my laptop with too many photos.) The kids are mostly walking up and down the terminal at the moment, getting food and meeting the three other AHSTF school groups that are here. They've worked out a system for watching each other's bags to allow for these explorations, and are doing a great job taking care of each other, as they always do.
In addition to the student luggage, we checked two steamer trunks nd a giant suitcase full of grandfather clock pieces, croquet mallets, Gibson Girl era gowns and a 27 foot long scarf. The baggage check agents gave it all a good look, then smiled and sent us through.
We are on our way!
